Congratulations on the idea of forming a French OVNI club !
Having sailed in my OVNI 43 Aventura III over nearly 70,000 miles in the last nine years I want to take this opportunity to congratulate all of you on your choice as I find OVNIs to be one of the best cruising yachts available at this moment. My own OVNI has taken me from near the Arctic Circle to Antarctica, then on a mammoth four month trans-Pacific voyage to Alaska. From Vancouver, BC, I decided to ship the boat back to the Mediterranean as I was short of time being still involved with the Millennium Odyssey round the world rally. Once that was finished, in 2001, I set off on my third round the world voyage that took me via the Cape of Good Hope back to the Med in the summer of 2006. I am currently writing a book about all my adventures over the last three decades and, of course, it will published in a French edition as well.
All the best to you OVNI sailors and good luck wherever you may go!
