Installing Pacific Windpilot

Hi
I am installing a Pacific windpilot on a Ovni345, the questions is : is enough to screw the 4 bolts to hold the flange on the stern or is more recommended to make a big hole and put the nuts underneath the four bolts.

Hi,
not sure it will be enough as the windpilot is very powerful. You really better have to make a hole and strongly put the nuts underneath.

I,ve just installed an windpilot pacific with four screwed bolts.When I asked Alubat for it, they answer it to me:" Yes you can install the wind pilot as per the pictures. The transom of all our Ovnis is extra reinforced in its central part by a 10 mm aluminium plate (40 cms * 40 cms). So the total thickness on the central part on the stern is 16 mm."(for an 445 year 2010)
